As Jordan Brand celebrates a decade of Carmelo Anthony's signature kicks with the release of the Melo M10, the brand has also taken a dip into its archives to produce a retro drop of the Knicks superstar's very first signature silhouette. Created by D'Wayne Edwards and originally laced up by the then-Denver Nuggets rookie in 2003, the kicks incorporate design elements of both the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan II - hence the 1.5 - and feature an OG Black/Metallic Silver-University Blue colorway that pairs a predominately suede upper with leather accents and shiny branding. Retailing for $120 USD, the Jordan Melo 1.5 Retro is due out this Saturday, January 4 at select Jordan stockists and Nike's own online store.
